Just a short drive from Malta and Morgan County, individuals can experience the largest wildlife conservation facility in North America. This facility is a place where African, Asian, and North American wildlife can roam freely. This is a place known rather appropriately as, The Wilds. Consisting of 6,000 acres of rolling grasslands, 3,000 acres of dense woods and 700 acres of wetlands just outside of Cumberland, Ohio, The Wilds exists in order to promote conservation through education and research programs to protect and manage wildlife resources. From May to October, visitors can take a bus on a guided tour through part of the facility. www.morgancounty.org
